Meet the Artist

Amy Renshaw discovered the love of making from an early age. Her passion for the hand made has became a lifelong journey with a particular love for creating small precious wearable objects. The intimate scale of jewellery and the diverse materials hold particular fascination along with the intrinsic meaning jewellery carries onto the wearer.

Amy is an artist and contemporary jeweller who creates unique pieces with a thoughtful and considered design philosophy. She loves and understands the materials and enjoys the hand made process. She particularly loves working closely with a client on a commission to create a truly personal and one-of-a-kind piece. Her designs follow a simple and refined philosophy often with something a little unexpected or with asymmetric detail.

Amy’s collection is constantly evolving as she experiments and explores new creative directions. Inspiration comes in many forms and is often hard to define, drawing from architecture for its clean crisp lines and textiles for their colour. Amy’s work has been exhibited around the world and is stocked by select galleries within Australia.

She has a Bachelor of Art (BA): Fine Art Gold & Silversmithing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University and a Diploma in Practical Diamond Grading from the Gemmological Association of Australia.
